Vision Teams
Come see with your eyes, your mind and your heart.
Vision Teams are an adventure to a remote part of the world and can be absolutely life-changing. Vision Teams aim to help you catch a glimpse of what God is doing around the world and how you could be a part of it.
You will gain a greater understanding of what’s involved in effective cross-cultural mission work and have the opportunity to serve and encourage in practical ways. As part of a Vision Team, you’ll also get to chat about real mission issues. These can include: ‘Culture Shock’, ‘Why Missions?’, ‘What is the Gospel?’, ‘Introducing Jesus to Another Culture (or even our own)’, ‘Teaching the Bible in Another Culture’, ‘Discipleship’, ‘The Goal of Missions’, ‘Introduction to Culture and Language Learning’, ‘Introduction to Teaching Literacy and Bible Translation’, ‘Health Care, Community Development and Social Justice Issues’, ‘Local Religions’, ‘Teamwork’ and more.
Our Vision Teams visit remote tribal locations where missionaries are currently working. These include the Philippines, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.
Join the adventure and learn lots about God, the world and yourself by visiting a world vastly different from your own.
Trips run for 7 to 10 days.
Cost:
$2,500 - $3,000 This covers travel, housing and meals. Prices are subject to change due to currency exchange and airline fuel surcharges. They are quoted in Australian dollars.
