Evangelism/Discipleship: 24 hrs
Equip yourself to clearly communicate the Gospel using the Chronological Approach. More than 70 mission agencies have used this method to reach over 200 language groups.
Critical Issues In Missions: 6 hrs
Gain insight into issues such as God's will, the missionary call, singleness, interpersonal relationships, syncretism, and destiny of the heathen.
Cross-Cultural Communication: 32 hrs
Learn and apply user-friendly language learning techniques as you are introduced to Tok Pisin (Neomelanesian Pidgin) and Papua New Guinea culture. Phonetics, captured phrases, Total Physical Response exercises and cultural universals are covered.
Mission Methods: 9 hrs
Get an overview of cross-cultural church planting. Linguistics, literacy, strategy statements, surveys and Bible translation are introduced.
Additional sessions: 15 hrs
Finances in missions, support missionary roles, communicating missions, and missionary training are covered.
