Category: Construction & Maintenance
Job Title: Carpenter / Handyman
Region: Latin America
Country: Brazil
Location: School for missionaries' children, East Brazil
Purpose: Help with many types of small projects relating to school center maintenance. We would welcome short-term applicants who might only be able to commit several weeks/months of their time.
Responsibilities: Monday-Friday work week typically from 9:00-5:00. Jobs include repairing window screens, repairing various types of wooden furniture, small electrical work like installing electrical outlets, installing ceiling fans etc.

Priority: Urgent
Date Needed: Immediately

REQUIREMENTS
Degree: No Degree
Experience: Experience working with wood is helpful. Welding ability a plus but not a necessity. A self-motivated personality would be nice since there wouldn't always be someone to work alongside.
Skills: The ability to relate to others and work as part of a team is important. The school center has all the tools necessary for completing these handyman tasks. However, the applicant would be encouraged to bring his own high quality/precision tools if they are available .
